Imagine and the Museum of Flight – partners for launching permanent and rotating exhibits that are Awe-Inspiring!
Imagines’ dynamic services and capabilities help create a powerful backdrop that inspires visitors from around the world. The Museum of Flight recently collaborated with Imagine on the “Home Beyond Earth” exhibit. The focus of this exhibit involved a variety of graphic applications for a series of wall treatments, a multi-layered photo backdrop along with illuminated dimensional signage elements that bring big impact and vision to the museum’s large spaces.

Ideation Partnership
Every new exhibit has a launch point. Imagine and Museum of Flight collectively discuss the best approach to materials and production methods long before the exhibit begins to take shape and move into further critical development stages for onsite deployment and installation of all the pieces that come together to shape the experience.

Wall Murals & Illuminated Signage
Traditionally, exhibit title walls need to create a visual impact to draw attention and set expectation. Our team is very familiar with the production and installation of large-scale adhesive vinyl and traditional wallpaper murals. Combine these elements with illuminated dimensional signage and you are sure to pique interest and make a statement.

Custom Fabrication
Museum of Flight challenged Imagine to engineer, produce and install a multi-layered photo op wall that would draw exhibit goers to help promote user generated content. This was achieved by incorporating a combination of a wallpaper backwall along with layers of custom printed router cut wood walls to create the illusion of a space station

Onsite Installation
The Museum of Flight relies on Imagine for onsite turnkey installation services for their static and rotating exhibits. From the smallest citations to elaborate immersive fabrication elements, our team can install most anything. We know the facility, and have measured all the spaces for accuracy so once we’re onsite all our work successfully fits into place.
Planning to Installation
From initial concepting, Imagine worked with the Museum of Flight to designate best practices for materials, processes and installation management. Through multiple onsite surveys and materials meetings with Museum of Flight and their designer, we established cut lettering, direct to substrate printed material substrate, and illuminated applications. This project took shape using a wide selection of skill sets and processes. The result…a beautifully produced illuminated sign creating impact for visitors to experience.
